The second East Harling Blues & Beer Festival-PRESS RELEASE 01/03/2010 The 2nd East Harling (Norfolk) Blues & Beer Festival at The Club, Church Road, East Harling, Norfolk, NR16 2NA is confirmed for 30th April, 1st, 2nd and 3rd May 2010 (Mayday Bank Holiday Weekend). Headline artists are The Dave Thomas Blues Band (UK), Shar-Baby (USA), Kathleen ‘KAT’ Pearson-Thomas (USA) and Paul Lamb & The King Snakes (UK) who appear respectively on each consecutive day of this uniquely intimate four day festival of real blues and real beer. Other artists already scheduled to appear include Paul Lawson (USA), Rusty Floyd (USA), Tony Henderson (Canada), Steve Payne (Canada/UK), James Goodwin (UK) and Grapevine Blues Band (UK). This new festival – in the rural tranquility of South West Norfolk – offers an all too rare opportunity for real blues fans to see some of the best international blues artists…up close and personal! Becky Burns Sad news reaches me concerning the death recently of my old friend and musical partner Becky Burns. Becky sang on the "Candy Run" album and also featured on a lot of my live shows in the late '80's and early '90's. She will be sadly missed." (11/25/06) |
